So many of us, taught over others in the first place. The first is we put ourselves in some way selfish.
There is a clear distinction to be made here, because there is a difference between selfish and self focused. To maintain sustainable recovery, it is absolutely crucial to put up the first place. Putting You First, you can concentrate on what matters most in your recovery. It's okay to focus on you.
When you are on yourself and what you need todo to take care themselves, they build strength and confidence in character, confidence and ensure that your recovery. They also find that your energy levels increase when you start taking good care of yourself.
Make no mistake, there is certainly nothing wrong to thoughtfully and deliberately different needs and feelings. In fact, this is a great trait. At rest, though, it can cause problems if you have different demands first of the exclusion of their own.
Thiscan be a little practice at first as Old Habits Die Hard. Be patient and gentle with yourself one day at a time. It just may surprise you if you focus on yourself, it is you care about most others, to care for themselves, which, as it should be, is free.
Be good to yourself and strengthen your recovery. Self care begins at home. Keep your strong recovery by the oxygen mask on themselves and only pass you on to another.
